One of the first things I noticed and loved about the Dawn was that it's cotton. this made it feel like an elevated everyday dress. I have another dress almost the same color and pattern that is church dress, so I like that I can wear the Dawn for everyday. I did find that it runs a bit smaller than the size chart indicates. When I measured the L I got 42" bust and 32" waist instead of the 44" bust, 35" waist the size chart says. But their instant exchange process is so great and makes it easy to try a different size, so I am excited to get the XL to see the difference. Once I get the right size, the Dawn will be a new staple in my closet!
The Wellingtom is an amazing dress! So flattering and I love the half-sleeve with the ruffle. This dress is a trim fit ( I love this word, I am borrowing it from Alyssa), not tight, but it is intended to be more slim-fitting. I found the measurements for the L to be different from the size chart. The L was a 40" bust and 34" waist according to my measurements, but still fit well. I tried the XL which I measured as a 42" bust and 36" waist and it was a bit baggy on me. I am a 40" bust and 36" waist. But as always, measurements can vary within an inch or so and depending on your body type, it might fit you differently. I kept the L I originally ordered and can't wait to wear it!
